Creating Kids Childcare Center

... is dedicated to serving the needs of children and their families in an urban setting. A full time, year round program provides parents with the childcare they need. The children spend their day with a small group in a stimulating environment designed for learning and loving. It is a center which supports the development of creative teachers and children.

This is a full time, not-for-profit child care center established in 1994.

Creating Kids! Creating Kids is an ethnically and economically diverse community of families with children from infants to preschoolers; a majority of the families are from the city's many neighborhoods.

It is a community enriched by children with special needs. It is an approved site for the New Haven Board of Education's School Readiness Program and the Child Care Assistance Program; both subsidize quality child care spaces for local families. Creating Kids is licensed by the State of Connecticut. Its mission is to serve the child care needs of area families through the development of an inclusive community and an innovative curriculum inspired by the theory of multiple intelligences.

Creating Kids is NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) accredited.
